Elevate Your Outdoor Space
Landscape Maintenance
A Higher Standard for Ongoing Landscape Care
Landscape maintenance is the work that decides how a property looks 300 days a year. Outdoor Perspective runs weekly and bi-weekly maintenance programs for homeowners, condominium associations and commercial property managers across Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire: mowing, edging, bed care, pruning, mulch, and the spring and fall cleanups that bracket the season.
Every property is assigned a dedicated account manager and a consistent crew, so the people cutting your turf in July are the same ones who cleaned your beds in April. Nothing gets re-learned every visit.

What a New England Maintenance Season Actually Looks Like
The maintenance calendar here is short and unforgiving. Spring cleanup starts as soon as the ground firms up, usually late March into April, and has to clear winter sand and salt out of the beds before new growth pushes. Mowing runs roughly late April through early November, with height raised through the July and August heat so turf holds moisture instead of scorching.
Fall is the heaviest stretch of the year. Oak and maple leaf drop in eastern Massachusetts often runs into late November, which means two or three cleanup passes, not one, and the last pass has to be timed ahead of the first hard freeze so beds are cut back and mulched before the ground locks up. Properties on major roads also carry a salt load along the edges, so we plan soil amendment and turf repair in those strips rather than reseeding the same failed margin every spring.
Landscape Maintenance Questions
How often will my property be serviced?
Most residential properties are on a weekly cycle through the growing season and bi-weekly in the shoulder months. Commercial and HOA properties are typically weekly year-round, with the scope shifting to cleanups and snow and ice management in winter.
Is spring and fall cleanup included or separate?
Both are quoted as part of the annual program, so there is no surprise invoice in November. The fall scope is usually larger, since it covers multiple leaf passes and bed cutback.
Do you handle irrigation and fertilization too?
Yes. Irrigation start-up, mid-season checks and winterization, plus plant health care through our tree and shrub team, so one account manager covers the whole property.
